Heartland Food Corp. is the second / third largest Franchisees of the BURGER KING® Restaurant chain. Heartland was founded in 2003 and operates in 8 Midwestern States. We are committed to represent the very best of the Burger King® brand, proudly serving over 68 million customers per year.

We recognize that the key to satisfying our customers is not just great food, service and cleanliness, but the quality and commitment that our Heartland employee team possesses in order to reach those daily goals. Our teams continue to demonstrate the leadership and dedication to making Heartland a leading company. Heartland has won two awards that demonstrate their commitment and success, not just within the Burger King System, but within the entire industry:

Heartland Food Corp. was presented Burger King’s “Brand Leadership Award”. This award is presented to one Franchisee each year that has demonstrated superior operations, brand reimaging, and who has demonstrated a leadership role within the Burger King brand.

Heartland Food Corp., was named by Nation’s Restaurant News, the food industry’s leading trade magazine, as its “2006 Franchisee Star Award”. This equates to being named “Best in Industry” among franchisees of U.S. restaurant chains. In order to be considered, franchisee must demonstrate exemplary standards in the following areas: outstanding growth in sales; customer growth and profitability; operational excellence; top quality food and service success; a respectful workplace culture and a commitment to the local communities in which they operate. Heartland Food Corp excelled in each of the criteria, providing its employees a respectful, drug- and harassment-free work environment while constantly training for employee career development from within. As a community supporter, HFC’s individual Burger Kings work primarily with the Muscular Dystrophy Association by raising funds to send children with neuromuscular disease to summer camp and local schools by rewarding student achievement and attendance, and providing fundraising opportunities.
